Greetings from Hamilton, Canada! Good quesion, Robert. Your question suggests the need for a database of matches. I have found one major collection,

but don't know how to download the entire collection, or even how to get more than one match at a time. Does anyone know where I could find, say, 10,000 transcribed matches? It certainly could be a valuable resource to have, and if it hasn't been done, it is a project that i would be willing to take on, making all of it available to anyone who wants to access it. And Robert's question is certainly one to which i would be prepared to find an answer.

I hope that i am not stepping on anyone's toes here. More than anything else, i'm looking for ways to contribute to the bg community, and hopefully have a positive impact. I would be most appreciative if anyone who has a collection of 100 matches or more, would send them to scott_donaldson@live.ca.

With any luck, Robert will have an answer within a few weeks.
