It has been in the back of my mind for a long time. Actually my first commercial BG program, CyberGammon (1995) had such feature.
I do not think it is too hard to program, just do the evaluation as it at what ever ply, then applies corrections:
add/sub X point (or %) of equity if the position is of a certain type add/sub X point (or %) of equity based on the volatility for cube play add to the ND equity if the player is set at "late doubler" etc most of the work will be to adjust the min and max of each of these parameter so each are about equivalent. and, of course, making the interface to create the personalities.
if the personalities could be used to analyze, one could create his XG clone. You can do that by finding the parameters that gives a series of your own games the lowest PR. Will players be willing to share their clone ? :-)
