I see that 61 for white plays much worse for white if blue plays 13/8 now. I don't see that 51 for white is worse after 13/8; white is not forced to hit. Still, the 61 roll is a minor consideration and I can't believe that leaving a blot on the mid point now is the right thing to do when blue can play 11/4 and cover.
