Blue's 22 play before the ho-hum 61

In Response To: Blue's 22 play before the ho-hum 61 (Nack Ballard)

I am glad that Nack brought up this topic and has offered insightful analysis into why the bots are making such strange looking moves in this type of position. In the past a few of my friends have shown me similar positions and I was always at a loss to give a plausible explanation. I remember saying to myself that it was just another part of backgammon which I will never understand. However, I am now moving over to Tim's view that the bots may simply be wrong in this type of position.
