In the same boat here. Doubles mess me up eternally. So here I will play something fluid and unstacky. 14/8,13/10(2). The options are endless really. Also, I find that I miss most of the right plays by simply not seeing them. Although in the case of doubles, thats not always the case.

I think its thematic to start an unstacking, and to overcome the urge to make the 5pt straight.
