Thematically, the big issue seems to be whether we should bring the anchor out with 21/16(2) or leave it on the 21-point. 7 of us voted to extract those checkers, 6 of us voted against. Perhaps we should focus on that question since everything else seems a minor detail by comparison.

Although we are far behind in the race, I chose to play 21/16(2) because I felt we simply do not have enough timing to stay back with those checkers. After this awkward 55 roll, our three back checkers are likely to become isolated from the rest of our forces and we do not rate to get very much counterplay from the 21-point. 21/16(2) seems to offer us more chance to keep our checkers working as a unit.

Let's discuss the reasons for and against 21/16(2).
