Am I missing something?

I think Mochy's proposition was opponent holds the cube but both players roll at the beginning to determine who starts the game.
The rollout result posted here, apparently gives the guy, who is not holding the cube the first roll and he may even start with a double!
I think, if you start a 1-point match and are allowed to roll doubles on top of that, you are an about 52.5 to 47.5 favorite.
