A better clock for backgammon

You seem to be saying that the delays increase (from 12s to 15s perhaps, or maybe 9s to 12s) if the moves in a game exceed a certain number. That could be set up using a number of clocks, like the Saitek Competition Pro.
Sounds good for money play, if you are resetting clocks each game. Might also be useful for match play. But issues could arise as to changing the move number with extra (unnecessary) presses, as can occur on the opening roll, with illegal plays, and when passing.
When I play money games, which is nearly always clocked, we get time for a set of games, usually 10 to 30, plus the delay of course. If you did this for your 30 game Mochy set it would transpose more to match play settings, of course. But you might have more excitement resetting each game! But there is not the intrigue of whether to save time for later, as it gets wiped anyway.
An interesting compromise, which has been suggested on this forum, is an intermediate set of say 6 games.
