ruling on premature cubing

This answer is based on what I'd like to the rules to say rather than what they actually say.
- You should not touch the checkers, dice, or cube during your opponent's turn.
- You should not say anything distracting during your opponent's turn. In particular you should not say things such as: "Man are you lucky," "What are you thinking about?" or "I'm going to double anyway."
- Any words or actions you make during your opponent's turn have no effect on the game. If you say "I double," the double doesn't count. If you roll the dice, the roll doesn't count. (You can tell whose turn it is by which clock is running.)
These rules are simple and easy to understand. (No penalty is specified here for not following these rules. I think it is better to provide the penalty (if any) for careless, inattentive, or sloppy play in a separate rule. Such a rule would also deal with illegal checker plays, moving checkers with two hands, hitting the clock with your wrong hand, etc.)
