Trying to open XG Opening Book

I've tried to download the XG opening book to my Windows XP machine. I've managed to download a file about 13Mb in size from the Extreme Gammon site. The file is displayed in the folder as an OB file. I'm not sure how to open it. When I click on the file icon in the folder, a file download window pops up asking if I want to save or open this file. If I click on 'open', another file download window pops up. How can I access the opening book? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
