What is the percentage for a gammon before the game starts?

I've been trying to get an answer from XG but I can't seem to figure out how to set up a position without the dice already rolled or on a specific player's side.

When I start a money game and set the dice for manual it rolls the first roll for me. doh.

When I set up a position it appears to require me to select which side the dice are on.

What I am trying to do is understand how much an opening roll increases the likelihood of a gammon based on XG's opening book.

If the dice are on my side it says I have a 14.2% chance of gammoning my opponent while he has a 12% chance of gammoning me.

So does anyone know the answer to: a) What the gammon percentage should be approximately prior to the first roll? b) if this can be gotten out of XG based on the opening book?
