>> I am strictly XG these days.
I was asking, does XG have a similar set of defaults for thresholds for categorising doubtful, bad and very bad, and if so, what are those thresholds?
Also in the half an hour that passed I performed a rollout of the top 3 candidates. Both plays we discussed came out as *identical* in terms of equity (+0.916). I hope I performed it correctly..
============================================================================
1. Rollout 23/18*/17 Eq.: +0.916
76.4 55.5 6.4 - 23.6 6.7 1.1 CL +1.024 CF +0.916
[ 0.2 0.3 0.4 - 0.2 0.3 0.2 CL 0.005 CF 0.006]
Full cubeful rollout with var.redn.
1296 games, Mersenne Twister dice gen. with seed 793498377 and quasi-random dice
Play: 0-ply cubeful prune [expert]
Cube: 2-ply cubeful prune [world class]
2. Rollout 23/18* 11/10 Eq.: +0.916 ( -0.000)

I do understand your reasoning behind suggesting blitzing though.. I guess if the rollout is to be believed, in this case, both plays were equally good.
