Jeremy, If you don't want to rewrite the text, one thing you could consider is to add your own in a different font. In an introduction you could explain about different bots with different playing strengths and providing different insights, that you wished to keep the original text intact (I remember from the GV site that I also really liked Trice's writing) but that you are adding results with stronger bots if these lead to new insights. And that you do that in a different font (or box, or anything else to distinguish it, you could also put JB & XG in front of it).
