A lot depends on whether the captain is going to be following Stick's advice.

I'm obviously not as strong as Stick is but I probably have about a 4PR advantage over the others in my chouette. They recognize that I'm stronger but they still generally ignore my advice.

Another thing to consider is whether dropping Stick's cube will reduce the expected amount of time until Stick is in the box next. It may be in the box's interest to try to keep Stick out of the box.

Finally, I would say that the most important factor is what effect the action will have on the mood of all the players concerned. If the effect on mood is significant, then it will probably have more impact on the outcome than technical considerations like PR.
