How best to store reference positions?

4. Saving SGF, MAT, SWM, XGP (etc!) files, then storing them in intricate nested folder hierarchies.

I've tried various things but this is what I settled on for laziness factor. That and just committing some stuff to memory so I don't need to look it up later. I am not the most organized of people.

Software sounds cool, it would probably garner interest.
