I'm not sure that qualifies as an exception to what I wrote. I meant when given the choice between making an important point or hitting on the opponent's side of the board.
Ex: 51slot 31? or 64s 53? etc. It extends to much more than just second rolls though.
Double-hitting is another animal altogether.
