In Response To: Opening Replies: 62R-11 vs. 63R-11 vs. 64R-11 (mochy)

I think much of the 64R-11N-43 duplication is offset by 62R-11N-52. Although the 43 looks to be the bigger of the two, I see these, to a large extent, as counterparts.

64R-11N-64 (blocked) not only has no counterpart, but it works in contrast to both 63R-11N-63 and 62R-11N-62R (neither blocked).

Assuming, for simplicity, we compare only 62R-11 to 64R-11, and noting the partial offset of 43 and 52 mentioned above, it seems to me that the next biggest swing (after the 64 roll) is either 54 or 53:

........62R-11E-54 leaves a direct shot.
........62R-11E-53 is duplicated.

Nice to have your input, Mochy, and I hope we see more of it. I'm sure you have plenty of great ideas to offer early game theory.

Nack
