Neil said " It also isn't easy to play your best in heavy time pressure although that can improve with some practice."
That's so true with many things in life, i wont mention pool for a change, that statement in more applicable in dangerous game hunting in Africa. When it comes down to a life and death situation, it's amazing how natural instinct kicks more effectively each successive time.
Ok i have to talk about pool, the first few times playing for high stakes the cue feels a bit shaky and heavy, after a few rodeo's its hard not to play your best unless the pressure is on.
My BG game is weak, however I do play better for higher stakes, I realize I should always play my best-no matter what the stakes. But something in my head clicks and when it matters more i tend to perform better.
Last thought, this also happens when driving at very high speeds 150mph+, the first couple times its scary as hell, and when you haven't done it in a long time that fear creeps back in. With consistent practice it's fades and driving(in controlled conditions) at high speed feels natural.
Neil is 1000% right on this one, for BG and damn near everything in life that matters to you, or your survival.
good job, congrats
