Even with the evil 65 roll, I am still unconvinced about your play. I also agree with Stick that hitting with that roll is certainly less than premium. I really would be tempted to block the nasty 66, although I dont genuinely know what I would do OTB. Probably your play and pray for a non boxcars. I dont know.

I do imagine that any other non hitting number from the bar would make me hit inside the board though. In retrospect, even with the 65 I may still crash the 6pt to put white up on the bar. The returns have to be worthwhile. Still dont know!
