That is correct, April. The current USBGF rules require cups with baffle boxes. Many disagree and many do not use cups. I don't like baffle boxes anyway; however, in my opinion, if we are going to have rules then the rules should be followed and enforced. If it is ultimately decided to change the rules then that is fine, but that should be the procedure. It is very bad precedent to allow players to pick and choose among the rules.

Electronic dice are not currently addressed by the USBGF. I personally think it is a very slippery slope, inviting disagreements, misunderstandings, and problems. Personally, I would consider allowing them for visually impaired or hearing impaired (if applicable) players; but otherwise would not allow their use at this time.
