Mary, the maximum number of private chats to have open while playing is maybe 4 otherwise they obscure the board. I often have to close chats and play and then I keep a lively dialogue going in the match chat.

Since you mentioned that I really feel that eligibility for Gianthood should not only be limited to excellence of play.

1. How much does a player give back to the game? Does she share her ideas FREEly?

2. What other contributions does this player make?

3. Do they write? Do they write well?

4. Do they support their peers and keep backgammon alive by supporting events?

5. Do they have a job or are they a bum/freeloader/miscreant?

and so on...
