I am not altogether certain that, from a programming perspective, the extent of your verbosity is unnecessary. However, the concept of "tie goes to the lower point" doesn't seem like it should require several lines of text to be computer-worthy. Likewise, if two plays both hit on the 20pt, or two plays both end up owning the 5pt, it seems like it shouldn't require a long paragraph each time to convey that one continues applying the hit/most/6 rule until whatever stage one is on has had all ties broken -- that could perhaps be a subroutine statement.

I understand my reason for providing examples, but I'm not sure I understand yours. Are you constructing your explanations/descriptions for a computer program or so that bgonline folks can understand? Both?

That said, in matters of programming language, I defer, and your efforts are greatly appreciated.
