If I may judge that Tim is posting because his S (Split) move was not popular with his bot, then I'm in trouble, too, because that's the move I would have played. If I may judge further, Stick is hinting that S (Split) does not develop the happy stack on the midpoint enough to satisfy his bot. (Sorry, Stick, in case you have not yet peeked at your GNUBG rollout.) What I would like to ask about, however, is Stick's comment that Tim is not winning the race. After this move, Tim will lead by 5 pips. His opponent will be on roll, trailing by the same 5 pips. Conclusion: Tim is not losing the race either. It is a tie. How does this play into an over-the-board analysis? Mike
