From XGR++ evaluations for the cubeful and cubeless variations (not rollouts), I estimated cube-efficiency coefficients for the two main plays as follows:

23/15: x1 = 0.71 (owning cube) and x2 = 0.77 (opponent owns cube)

13/5 : x1 = 0.71 (owning cube) and x2 = 0.80 (opponent owns cube)

In this position, with the cube in the centre, with or without Jacoby, cube efficiency effects on checker play appear to be broadly equivalent to the situation where the opponent has exclusive access to the cube, with a 0.03 improvement of efficiency for 13/5 vs 23/15. As 23/15 reduces the opponent’s cube efficiency this improves the margin of superiority of 23/15, but only by about 0.008. The fundamental issue here appears to be gammon value related. Staying behind and maintaining contact increases winning chances by about 1.5% but at the cost of about 6% net loss in gammons - a poor trade.
