I really don't get this line of reasoning, or whatever Rod is talking about.

If you want to be hit, save timing, make your opponent make mistakes with difficult rolls, and play a back game, the best play is 6/2* 6/4. Or if you want to balance that with some degree of purity about it you could try 8/4 5/3*. Since we already know that is insane, maybe a better question to ask is why is 13/7 right?
