I don't know. The idea of tipping for attending a tournament just makes me uncomfortable. Maybe it's because I've never taken money for the backgammon meetup I set up. Just feels wrong to me.

I'm happy to pay a hospitality fee. If there was a tournament staff fee I'd be happy to pay that too.

So, what would you have given if you'd won $X in Peroria. Or would it be a portion of $Y where Y was $X less entry fees, hotel, travel and food?
