Assuming that your 2,04 is legit and you just are a 2,04 player, then taking on the Phipps challenge should really be a no-brainer.
Possible gains:
- 10K$
- Proving that you are not a cheater who has built a false reputation as the world's best ever player (by such a wide margin to the next best players that they start to look like lousy patzers). Not only will you restore your reputation as an honest player, you will also prove yourself as the best player the world has ever seen! Who would not want to do that?!
Risk: - 0$
If you happen to take on the challenge and fail to come close to the 2,04, then that will just confirm people's opinion that you cheated online. Is that a risk? - Not really, because it just leaves you with the same reputation as you have now.
What's the take point on that decision?
