As a young, immature backgammon player, I was involved in a few propositions giving ridiculous odds. Amazingly I came out far ahead but I realize I probably "just walked on water" in those sessions.

Now, as an aging but much stronger player, I wouldn't touch the same propositions with a ten foot pole.
