Why is the swap easier? The dice are in the hand when picked up. Wouldn't the swap would just occur before putting them in the cup? To me, if the dice are picked up and dropped in the cup in one motion, rather than being brought towards the player and put in a cup, it would be harder to swap them. If I pinch the dice between finger and thumb, rather than cover them in my palm, the dice are (at least partially) visible the entire time.
