Who gets this right over the board

A recent subject in my three seminar trip from Peoria through Florida and Connecticut is doubling @ 2 away.
My advice to players leading 2 away was basically that it is delicate and tricky finding the exact moment to double, therefore it is better to let your desperate opponent send over the cube... putting the match ending points on the line.
As the leaders take point in non contact races sometimes goes below 20%, it is clear to me that the leader in this case should be enthusiastic about taking this double if it is offered to him. In other words you are making your opponent happy. Is that what you want? Not according to Phil Simborg in his seminars. Do the thing your opponent does not want you to do.
Meanwhile you want to get to 4 away, so that your cube handling as the trailer is simple... you can double almost any advantage without doubt.
Those considerations lead me to believe that you should hold off doubling here and pray you bear off those men and reach 4 away, 2 away. Then you can let the cube fly! Tread carefully putting the match on the line as an underdog in the position.
