If the .47% was changing losses to wins then it would need to be doubled. Your difference was changing gammon losses to single losses so the GP needs to be used. For unlimited game you would half it before doubling for an equity difference of .0047. For DMP you would multiply by 0 first for an equity difference of 0 (although maybe one play does just slightly better for actually winning the game).
