Results-Based PR

Suppose players A and B have had the same set of opponents, and player A's luck adjusted result against them is better than player B's. Then what the VRR crowd wants is that player A is considered the better player, period. With your approach, player A will not be considered the better player, if, for some reason, her opponents performed worse enough PR-wise against her than against player B. The VRR crowd would assume that player A made her opponents perform worse, and that VRR proves that it was in her best interest to do so.
So, my suggestion was that PRopp in your formula should be opponents' average PR against all their opponents. Referring to my example, PRopp should be equal for player A and player B. I am aware that this contradicts your goal of creating a VRR based measure of skill that can be derived directly from player profile data.
