Colin, your desire to prevent an injurious loss of equity to innocent parties caused by a lack of dexterity with the doubling cube is salutary.

May I ask your opinion on one question? If a bad actor were to be the type to hope that a centered doubling cube could surreptitiously slither over to his side of the board at an opportune time, do you think said bad actor would prefer to have the centered cube showing 64 or 1, or showing 2, face up?
