World Team 2015

I am proud to present the players on The World Team 2015. They might add 1-2 players to the team later on as they are allowed to be up to 9 players on the team. The 7 players on the team so far are:

Akiko Yazawa (JP)

Victor Ashkenazi (USA)

Masayuki Mochizuki (JP)

Michihito Kageyama (JP)

Raj Jansari (UK)

Petko Konstadinov (USA)

Robert Wachtel (USA)

I guess this is Japan/USA with a twist of UK. It is indeed a very strong team! and I am sure that you will see some great backgammon from these players. As always all matches will be transscribed and be available for everyone to learn from. Some of the more exiting matches will be streamed live as well.

Last year The World Team won against the Danish team 27-15. However the Danes have the overall lead 3-2. I bet that the world team really want to win this one making it 3-3.

It is decided that the team who first make it to 5 wins will be the overall winner of this event.
