In Response To: The point of my post (Maik Stiebler)

One thing I've wondered about is whether my intuition that weaker players systematically win fewer gammons than they "should" has any basis in fact. If it does then I think that could have a significant effect on fish MET calculations.

Similarly I wonder if the conventional wisdom that stronger players should steer away from gammonish plays because they tend to shorten the match can be backed up with calculations.
