White's board is only mildly blotty, but I thought it was worth checking (in Position 2) how XG 3-ply Normal plays each of White's rolls after 13/9 13/8 and also after 13/8 6/2, just to make sure it wasn't doing anything silly.

Only 22 turned out to be slightly iffy, and the equity difference wasn't large. (I'll leave it to the reader to think about how to play 22 and to check the bot if desired.) So the rollout's preference for 6/2 over 13/9 is probably sound.

One insight I gained from this exercise is that 6/2 doesn't leave as many shots as you might think at first, because of Blue's huge advantage in board strength.
