DEAD CUBE RULE

Am I the only person who thinks this NEW Dead Cube Rule is wrong?

It seems that it's just another rule created by open players to gain yet another edge. If I'm aloud to make a mistake with the cube as the trailer, my opponent should be allowed to make a mistake as the leader. Either the cube is in play or it's not. You can't just turn off the cube after it's already been turned simply b/c it's not good for your game. That's BS.
