DEAD CUBE RULE

Yes Phil has a leniency point and fish do qualify. I did not read his comments as "hard coded". I have to go with him on this one. If I read it right, Phil mentioned that if he would of made the same mistake they would show no mercy, and he would not even ask for it. If I know for a fact the other (guys) would hang me out to dry, why would I let them off the hook, match or chou? It usually does not cause a problem because they know how they are themselves. And I do know a number of players that qualify so no, I don't let them. But only those people. If you doubt me I was playing in the finals in Peoria against Ed O'Laughlin when he rolled 4,2. Instead of pointing on me and making a strong 3 pt board, he hit loose and played a 5 down. This was NOT a legal moves tournament. I asked him what he would do. He said he always plays legal moves, I believed him then made him play legal. Fortunately the new rules are clarifying a lot of these decision situations, at least in matches.
By the way, if chouettes are supposed to be fun and social first and foremost how come they won't let me play in a lot of chouettes. You must of forgot about the money part. I bet thats the reason.
