You say that I want this rule to increase the skill of the game. That is only a partial reason. I want this rule change to make the last part of the game more interesting and intricate to play and to watch. More strategy and more difficult and interesting plays.

I don't want to watch a 17 point match get to 2away/2away and then bam, it's over. That's when I want to see the players really challenged and the decisions really interesting, and there will be a lot more of those with no cube for the rest of the match.
