Popularizing Backgammon = TV

I have enough insights of how TVs operate, having been in the industry meyself for quite some years.
What matters to TV is the income from advertising space sold during a show. Backgammon is not attractive enough to ensure enough income so boradcasters donīt take the risk to diffuse a show unless they find a major sponsor to cover the lack of income.
That sonpsor is not on the market yet, since bg is small business and not poular enough.
On top, a backgammon show must be extremely well produced in order to make it attractive for non-afficionados to watch and tht is very costly.
TV is needed for poplarity of backgammon, but popularity of backgammon is needed for TV.
Bottom line: the egg or the hen? Which one first?
You need money to pre-invest in order to recoup it maybe much later and the hard way. ROI, if at all, is very risky and potential investors might have better opportunities to stick their money in than backgammon.
