Getting a shot does not justify the take, but the momentary pleasure it brings surely is worth something. If you belive that is is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved, does it follow that it's better to get a shot and miss? Is it even better to get a double shot and miss? And what about getting a shot, hitting, but still getting gammoned?
