Its main drawback is that the user interface is not as nice as the Snowie or ExtremeGammon interface and it is less intuitive to use.

I know there are players like me who used GnuBG before they purchased XG and find XG less intuitive than GnuBG, so I think it's not fair to say that GnuBg is inferior in that field.
