Mirror solution (near/far axis)

In Response To: Re-reaching the starting position (Henrik Bukkjaer)

Henrik's proposed puzzle is to go from the opening position (left diagram) to the mirror image position (right diagram). Below the diagrams is my solution. Can anyone accomplish this in fewer than ten moves?
