Phil had the name wrong; it's Rocky Kaya.

Rocky is a nickname, taken from his last name, Turkish for "rock". He's a well-known cheat. I haven't seen him in legitimate backgammon circles in twenty years, but he was hustling strangers in the hallway of the WSOP a few years ago. I talked to him for ten minutes without letting on that I remembered him; turned down his offers to play by saying "I"m sure you're too good for me". Of course, he may well be too good for me anyway.
