Definition of 'Gammonish'?

I tried so hard to justify my awful decision and you guys just ignore it and come back with bare logic :)

Many thanks Casper - your concise rule of thumb sounds nice to remember. If I'm understanding correctly, I guesstimate I should typically go on the alert to possibly drop when the position starts to look 'gammonish' and my GWC fall below, say, 35%?
And thanks to Scotty also - when I am feeling a bit fresher I will try creating derived positions and plugging resultant numbers into your formula to see if I can get a feel for how future rolls might have affected drop and take points ATS. Top man! :)
