Hand-recording matches

I don't think hand-recording is anything like a 'clear contravention' of rule 1.5. As we have gone forward, most directors have allowed electronic recording of matches, and this has never been judged to be an 'electronic aid'. I don't see how hand-recording the moves is anything like an 'aid'. Your argument about 'gibberish' is trivial; any TD could quickly tell the difference between moves being recorded and match equities (or pip counts) being calculated.
