There's no fixed answer to this question. It depends on how much your PR varies from match to match. The commonsense thing to do is to just keep playing until your reported PR stabilizes.

For seven-point matches, which is what I mainly practice with against the computer, I've found that fifty matches seems to be about right for me. Less than that and there's too high a chance that I get a stretch of particularly difficult matches or particularly easy matches; more than that and I might actually be learning something (LOL) so that I'm not playing quite the same way at the beginning as I am at the end.
