ahhhh, yes, i definitely misread the original problem, and approached it with the score the other way around. It was a very challenging and definitely interesting problem, and i certainly learned a lot from it...

Initially, it doesn't look like the trailer has enough prospective wins to send the cube. However, the leader will cube, and blue will take. If blue waits for white's cube, blue will only get a single point for the 6/36 games he wins on the first roll. If blue cubes now, he collects 6 additional match points. The correct cube action for blue is to cube immediately. Those additional match points are the difference between 3a and 2a which is nearly 10% with the leader being 2a. The trailer gains almost 6 x 10/36 = 2.8% in MWC by offering the cube now.
