13/9 is a must against the Bulgarian anchor. 18/14 should be played to reduce opponent's attacking chances.
The last threes 24/20 18/14 is not best because it leaves direct shot AND the 20 is subject to attack.
14/10 13/9 seems best BUT, Midpoint is stripped and the backman has a long jouney.
Look! There is the 24/16 18/14 possibility. Voluntary double shot BUT He is reduced to only one game plan - hit. No attack and no 6/36 shot on the 10. If he hits we safety one man and suffocate the Bulgarian anchor. Even if he rolls doubles LATER they will probably be useless. With a 18 pip (14pip effective) lead we are very near to an efficient POINTLESS double against a doomed Bulgarian anchor. From an opening to an endgame on the third move! This move turned out best because of its simplicity - with a racing lead reduce game plans for the opponent. Beginner's move turns out to be a concealed master move.
