Having switched to iSight, I like John's approach to this position. Others are too optimistic when they say the 4pt gap can be ignored. John estimates that fully 1/3 of the time, it should not be ignored.

Nicely done.

I also like Keene's approach. I generally start with with something like 10% + 2 pips (or 8912), and only go to iSight when the decision is not clear. Keene's method adds Woolsey's Law to the mix. If something simple like 8912 leads you to think you probably have a double, and your off-the-cuff estimate is that you don't care whether the opponent takes or passes, then you have a cube!

I'm going to try this out.
